Accepted Cards

Orders placed on jyjsmk-fy.myshopify.com can be settled with any of the following seven cards: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, JCB, Diners Club, and Discover. Cards issued on a credit line and cards drawing directly from a debit account are equally welcome at checkout. Prepaid cards that display one of these network logos are usually accepted too, as long as your issuing bank permits online retail transactions.

Pricing Currency

Billing at The Ordinary always takes place in United States Dollars. Whether you order from within the US or from abroad, the charge is submitted to the card network in USD. Foreign banks then translate that amount into local currency, which may add a conversion or foreign-transaction fee determined solely by them.

Payment Security

Protecting your card details is a top priority at The Ordinary. Every payment is transmitted over an encrypted SSL/TLS connection and handled in accordance with the PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). We never see or store your full card number on our own servers — the data goes straight to our certified payment processor.

Authorization & Billing

When an order is placed, the total — including applicable tax, with shipping provided free — is authorized against your card. The descriptor that appears on your statement will reference The Ordinary or jyjsmk-fy.myshopify.com, so you can easily recognize the purchase. Should you not recognize a charge, contact us at kempsoncorado@gmail.com and we will help you trace it.

When You Are Charged

Your account is debited once your order is accepted by our system. From that point the standard 1-2 business day handling clock starts, followed by 4-6 business days in transit with a tracking number provided. If you notice the charge but never received an order confirmation, reach out to kempsoncorado@gmail.com so we can verify the status.

Declined Payments

Declined payments are handled gracefully — nothing ships and nothing is charged until a valid payment is received. If you believe the decline is an error, double-check for typos, ensure your card is enabled for e-commerce, and confirm funds are available. Persistent failures should be reported to our team at kempsoncorado@gmail.com so we can investigate from our side.

No Hidden Fees

Honest, all-in pricing is a promise at jyjsmk-fy.myshopify.com. The subtotal displayed on the product and cart pages already reflects what you owe; only sales tax is added afterward, and only where the law requires it. Card processing costs are our responsibility to bear, so they never reach your invoice.
